Anne Cure
Anne Cure has been repairing, restoring and selling violin-family instruments since 1993. She has studied with William Salchow, Quentin Playfair and Jonathan Woolaston at the Banff and Toronto Island Violin Craftsmanship Seminar, with Horst Kloss and Lynn Armour Hannings at the University of New Hampshire Violin Craftsmanship Institute, and with Paul Perley of Montpelier, Vermont. She has played cello and viola in the Divertimento Orchestra, and is former first cello in the Parkdale Orchestra. She plays chamber music with Ensemble des Chouettes, and also teaches violin, viola and cello from her studio. Having experience with music and woodworking since childhood, Anne has taught music for nearly 40 years. As a teacher, musician and luthier, she is dedicated to quality instruments for players of all levels.
